Agustin Claramunt was born in Montevideo, Uruguay. He graduated from UCUDAL and holds a Master's degree in Cinematography (Escuela Superior de Cine y Audiovisuales de Cataluña). Since 2004 he has developed a career as Director of Photography in films, series and commercials in different places around the world and has been awarded for his achievements on different occasions. He has worked with directors such as William Eubank, Nicolas Perez Veiga, Armando Bo, Vellas, Alaska and Jaron Albertin, among others.

In 2021, he shot Ringo by Nicolas Perez Veiga. In 2022, he shot Land of Bad by William Eubank. Both projects are currently in post-production and will premiere soon.
