Matias Boucard worked as an assistant camera, electrician, and gaffer before becoming a camera operator, cinematographer and underwater cinematographer working on commercials, music videos and features.
Since 2005 he has shot many feature films and TV shows.
His latest feature "Athena" directed by Romain Gavras and co-written by Ladj Ly is a masterpiece and a technical achievement, the Fight Club's director David Fincher even said about the film he was "slack-jawed and agog".
