Damien Morisot came up through the ranks as camera assistant, lucky enough to work with Directors such as André TECHINÉ, Patrice CHÉREAU, J.F STEVENIN, Claire DENIS, Roland JOFFÉ. Meanwhile, Damien was working on many documentaries and was part of the International TRANSANTARTICA expedition co-led by french Dr Jean-Louis ÉTIENNE and US member Will STEAGER.

Making the transition to Director of Photography through music videos, he has spent the last 25 years working continuously on commercials for such directors as Frederic PLANCHON, Antoine BARDOU-JACQUET, Baily WALSH, STYLEWAR, J.B MONDINO, Seb EDWARDS, Sam BROWN.

In between, Damien shot films and TV series. He is valued for his ability to bring meaning with cinematography through elements of a story and a strong collaboration with directors and art directors as well as with production managers, finding innovative solutions.
