Ana Maria Miranda

Née au Brésil et installée en France depuis 2020, Ana Maria vient d’un parcours en art et histoire de l’art, avec une spécialisation en peinture moderniste, qui nourrit encore aujourd’hui sa manière de penser. Avec un début sur les plateaux comme technicienne — entre flash et lumière continue—, elle a évolué vers la direction de la photographie. C’est dans l’univers de la mode qu’elle a développé sa passion pour l’image en collaborant avec des maisons comme Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Hermès, Dior, Chanel, Tom Ford, MiuMiu et Dries Van Noten. Aujourd’hui, son travail cherche à faire dialoguer ce regard nourri par la mode et l'art aussi avec le clip et la fiction, notamment à travers des univers inspirés par le cinéma d’horreur et la science-fiction.

Born in Brazil and based in France since 2020, Ana Maria comes from a background in art and art history, with a specialization in modernist painting, which still shapes the way she thinks today. She began her career on set as a technician — working with both flash and continuous lighting — before moving into cinematography. It was through the world of fashion that she developed her passion for image-making, collaborating with houses such as Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Hermès, Dior, Chanel, Tom Ford, Miu Miu and Dries Van Noten. Today, her work seeks to bring this fashion- and art-informed perspective into dialogue with music videos and narrative filmmaking, notably through worlds inspired by horror and science-fiction cinema.
